Our Client wishes to appoint a highly motivated Senior Learning Designer to work on our client’s product. Based in the Melbourne head office, you will be reporting to the Head of Production, and will lead the learning science approach across School and Higher Education / Vocational products.
This position is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to drive evidence-based, innovative, learner centric products that improve the learning outcomes and engagement experience of students and teachers.
Analysis and design of the content strategy within the product to match the subject / discipline and course curricula
Test ideas in the market based on these hypotheses, examining data, and iterating
Craft a detailed learning design plan for product(s) within subject/discipline
Utilise the Company’s Principles for Quality Learning Design
Develop new learning solutions that focus on improving student and teacher experiences and
Act as the advocate for student learning to ensure continuous improvement of products and learner
Proven experience in developing customer focused resources for teaching and learning that meet needs and challenges, and translating those to product and the value story for the learner
Exceptional knowledge and understanding of learning methodologies and how to build a content strategy plan
Experience in collaborating with cross functional groups to help execute on product vision and strategy
Proven ability to balance experience and learner knowledge with data-driven insights to make
Experience in measuring and evaluating learning experiences, capturing and analysing metrics
A willingness to re-purpose content, test and iterate ideas in the market, to meet the changing needs of
An ability to collaborate and work co-operatively with all in-house departments demonstrating mutual
Extraordinary problem-solving skills; questioning the status quo and taking calculated risks to meet
