Web Developer

My client is seeking software/web developing professionals to support their ambitious growth strategy. Working in the team you’ll be mixing with some of the brightest minds while working on a strategic product being developed to help clients accelerate their business and data related challenges. Your role will be to help develop the solution as a part of the internal software development team located here in Sydney.
You will have knowledge and experience in (depending on your experience level):
Required skills:
 Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent industry experience
 Working with a varied stack – Python, JavaScript, React, Redux, CSS3, Typescript, HTML5, Node.js.
 Software design patterns and web platform architecture
 REST APIs and WebSockets
Preferred skills:
 Building software solutions on multiple platforms and industries
 Agile software development methodologies
 Cloud Services (e.g. Azure PaaS, App Services, Function Apps, Data Factory or similar)
 Data pipelines: ingestion, storage, analytics.
 Git version control
 CI/CD concepts and technologies
 NoSQL and Relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, CosmosDB, Redis)
 Big Data Technologies (for example: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
 Unit and integration testing concepts.
You will:
● Have a questioning mind and lots of bright ideas
● Be a critical thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills
● Be comfortable with manipulating and combining large, high dimensional datasets from multiple sources
● Have an ability to interpret findings and identify key insights to communicate to a non-technical audience
● Have demonstrated experience building relationships with internal and/or external clients
● Be passionate about delivering high quality work
