The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) work for the people of Victoria by helping the government achieve its strategic objectives. Driving digital transformation across Victorian Government services is a key focus, and has created a number of newly created roles within the Digital, Creative & Marketing space.

An innovative UX research and design practitioner with a passion for human centred design is needed to be an integral part of the Single Digital Presence project, a unique Australian opportunity which will transform the DPC’s suite of digital services.

You will play a key role in vastly improving the web presence by providing easier access to important government information on a reimagined Victorian Government website for the benefit of all Victorians.

As part of the Digital Engagement team, you will lead UX research, reporting and testing. Using your experience in conducting interviews, surveys and user testing, you will develop digital solutions that are citizen-centric by design.  Collaborating with stakeholders, and with support of the wider project team, you will re-think how the Victorian Government designs, builds and delivers digital services.

This is a challenging role that will demand you to effectively convey UX research findings and ensure they are actionable, understandable and persuasive. The ability to creatively solve problems and adapt easily to changing circumstances will ensure success in this position.
