I am currently working with one of Melbourne’s most celebrated independent agencies that for the past decade have absolutely dominated in the retail space and have recently just won a major piece of work with one of Australia’s leading health insurance providers.
The role itself will sit in a team of 5 and see you report straight into the Group Account Director, you will have an account executive that reports into you and as this is a new piece of business your role will be pivotal in setting up processes and cementing the new relationship between the agency and client.
This role will suit an account manager looking to take the next step in their career, with the size of the client and diversity of its stakeholders, no two days will be the same and an ability to manage senior stakeholders is key.
An understanding of how an integrated campaign comes together is essential and a knowledge of digital production would definitely give you edge.
If you are fed up being a cog on a small wheel then this could be the role for you, you will work closely with the strategy team and be involved in setting the brief not just following it.
